Chronology
Growing up in the Amazon rainforest, Autumn finds herself in the rarest of friendships: she discovers a lost jaguar cub named Hope. When a tragic event forces Autumn to leave Hope for the unknown in New York City, she has dreamed for years of returning to the rainforest and her friend. At 14, Autumn, accustomed to city life, discovers that her hometown is under threat from animal traffickers and decides to return to the Amazon to be with her beloved jaguar. Autumn’s delightfully clumsy biology teacher Anja (Emily Bett Rickards) tries in vain to talk her out of this reckless plan. Anja joins Autumn to find Hope and save her from those who would destroy the rainforest and its wildlife.
