Chronology
Charles, a retired man, gets a new lease on life when he answers a private investigator’s ad and becomes a mole in an undercover investigation at a nursing home. Michael Schurt wrote "A Man On the Inside" after watching the Chilean documentary "The Mole Agent." He says, "The Mole Agent" The documentary is powerful because it evokes something very similar in people of all ages, ethnicities, and genders, and I would describe that feeling very succinctly: “I need to call my mom.” We tried to do something similar with the tone of our show: Basically, does our show contribute to that feeling of calling our moms?
I love Ted Danson!
And he portrayed a very good Widower who is stuck in a grieving rut after losing his wife. The show is heartwarming and shows the necessary companionship of family and friends as we age, especially after the loss of a loved one.
It’s also hilarious and silly in typical Danson fashion
It’s easy to watch, easy to laugh at with its touching moments, and I can’t wait for season two! It starts off quick and easy, and all 8 episodes are easy to watch.
And it doesn’t hurt to have a great cast!
I recommend it to anyone who likes silly comedies but wants something to feel good about.
