Rufus is a utility that helps in formatting and creating bootable USB flash drives such as pen drives/USB drives, memory sticks, etc.
It can be especially useful in the following situations:
You need to create USB installation media from bootable ISOs (Windows, Linux, UEFI, etc.)
You need to work on a system that has no operating system installed
You need to flash BIOS or other firmware under DOS
