In 1979, a group of young filmmakers set out to make a coming-of-age film on a rural Texas farm, but when their lonely, elderly owners capture them, the crew is left fighting for their lives. X (2022) The day after X (2022) South by Southwest premiered, writer/director Tee West revealed that he wrote the prequel to Pearl (2022) during a two-week mandatory COVID-19 quarantine at his New Zealand hotel before production began. ) A24 saw the script and film "X" was packed. He asked star Mia Gott if she would like to stay in New Zealand and asked "Pearl" She gladly accepted.

Legally Performed by Loretta Lynn, Vonnie Morrison, Johnny Russell. I first watched this movie as an introduction to Mia Goth’s acting and I have to say, this movie is incredible. I was excited to see the star-studded cast, including Jenna Ortega and Brittany Snow. Having said that, I think the script doesn’t match the actors’ ability.
Overall his movie is good but not great
If you are looking for 70s/80s years of style slasher films, this one fits the bill. The motives of the characters in this film left a lot to be explained and caught my eye. However, this film serves as an introductory film to the prequel "Pearl" Better implemented and "X" "Pearl" In all its glory. However, I’m looking forward to the character development in the companion films surrounding this storyline.
