Chronology
Unravel the mystery of a town in the central United States that captures everyone who enters. As the residents struggle to maintain a sense of normalcy and search for a way out, they must also survive the threats of the surrounding forest. The place, known as the Beaver Bank Village, has a long history and many years ago contained apartments, a meeting house, a fire station, a school, a church, a convenience store, etc.
A rope is dropped down to him
(all demolished by 2004) to support the workers of the nearby military base that operated in the 1950s and 1960s. The paved streets and driveways were left, and a fake town was built on them. When Boyd steps into a distant tree, he finds himself at the bottom of a well.
Martin did not throw down the rope

You’re walking right into the same trap
I’m writing to the writers and producers of this series: Don’t turn this into another “Lost” – another disappointment. None of the characters communicate with each other or tell each other what’s going on in the town. It’s as if they’ve suddenly become clueless, and they’re not consciously withholding important information that could help them understand what’s going on.
And this is so annoying
Also, in every episode something new happens, but it’s never explained. I’ve watched 14 episodes so far, and nothing has been explained – just like “Lost”. So please, writers and producers, don’t spoil this either.
