Chronology
Mufasa, a lost and lonely young lion, meets a friendly lion named Taka, heir to a royal bloodline. The chance encounter begins an expansive journey for the group of outsiders in search of their destiny. James Earl Jones, who played Mufasa from 1994 to 2019, died at the age of 93 on September 9, 2024. When he was offered the role, he turned it down, and this film is dedicated to his memory.
