Mufasa: The Lion King enlists Rafiki to pass on the legend of Mufasa to lion cub Kiara, daughter of Simba and Nala, with Timon and Pumbaa lending their distinctive style. Told in flashbacks, the story presents Mufasa as an orphaned lion cub, lost and lonely until he meets a friendly lion named Taka – heir to the royal bloodline. A chance meeting sets off a far-reaching journey for an unlikely group of outsiders in search of their destiny – their bonds will be tested as they work together to avoid a dangerous and deadly enemy.
