Jude Law in “Skeleton Crew” and more stars from a galaxy far, far away
Four children make a mysterious discovery on their home planet that leads to them becoming lost in a strange and dangerous galaxy. The holographic circus that entertains Neel’s little brothers is the same one Chewbacca’s family sees in the infamous Star Wars Holiday Special (1978).

Based on the trailers, I thought it was going to be terrible. I only saw the first episode and was surprised by how entertaining it was.
Sort of a Spielberg-style Star Wars
I have high hopes for this one. It may be aimed at kids, but even at my advanced age, I still enjoy this style of storytelling.
There’s even a little social commentary
The first episode was fun and engaging, it flowed well, and didn’t take itself too seriously. So far, it’s the second best series after Endor, but that could change as we see more episodes.

I think this series is a good direction for the Disney/Star Wars combo. One Hundred Years of Solitude is one of the most important TV and streaming premieres this month.
