Dwight “The General” Manfredi: I don’t really go to church
The opening credits sequence shows various photographic and painted views and landmarks of Oklahoma superimposed on the New York City landscape: The statue of Sioux Chief “Touch the Clouds” wearing a war hat and bone necklace (breastplate) superimposed on the top of the Brooklyn Bridge; the Golden Drill Statue superimposed on the Statue of Liberty; the Western Gateway Arch of Route 66 superimposed on Manhattan’s main avenue. In New York City, in the borough of Manhattan, there are several numbered “Avenues” that are intersected by smaller numbered streets.

Likeable and relatively deep characters, plausible plot, bearable pacing are the driving forces of this show. Stallone is good as the main character, but I really like Andrea Savage and her character, very good performance.
The cinematography and music are nothing special, both are good enough to help keep the show entertaining, but they don’t add value and don’t stand out
I really respect that Stallone doesn’t try to look younger when his character Dwight honestly mentions his age and how it might affect his relationship with a younger woman. My review makes the show look pretty average, but I rate it 8/10 because it’s a solid show, not a TV/cinema masterpiece or tour de force.
